TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

We are a booking agency, Each boat is privately owned and operated. Captains may deny passage or alter plans as needed for passenger safety and comfort. Upon boarding, the captain assumes full responsibility and authority for ensuring quality service throughout the journey providing the standard of service that we have worked to offer you.
 

Ensure clear communication with the captain of the reserved boat, to comply with the entry and cancellation policies on board.

We are not responsible for weather conditions, government decisions, legal disobedience or other action that goes against public order. We do our best to keep you updated in time on decisions outside our range.

The food and drinks included are offered solely and exclusively by the captain and his crew and each one has a unique menu. We adapt to the greatest extent possible, in completing your dietary regimens and particular preferences.

Terms and conditions of the boat and reserved crew will be communicated days prior to arrival.

You are staying in the home of a family or couple. It is an intercultural experience with your hosts and the Guna indigenous village. So adaptation is a great tool to enjoy this trip to its fullest potential.

Each guest is responsible for their personal belongings. The crew and we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Adventure Travel is inherently risky. By booking with us you accept the risks and discharge responsibility to the crew, shipowners, agencies and intermediaries.

Sailing and being on a boat involve inherent risks and uncertainties. By engaging in our sailing charter services, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks, both known and unknown, and you agree that TriponBoats, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur as a result of these risks.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: SERVICES INCLUDED AND NOT INCLUDED
Services Included: – Crew on board – Use of the boat under the chose modality. – All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) – Daily sailing to islands within Guna Yala within the time on board – Safety equipment – Water toys – Dinghy with motor ​ Your service do not includes: – Each island is owned by different native Guna Yala families. In some islands, the owners take care of keeping it clean and prepared to receive visitors, and they may charge a fee of $2 to $3 per person per day to visit their island. – Entry into the Guna Yala region. Upon entering the Guna Yala region, you will have to pay a fee of $23 for foreign passports or $8 for locals and residents. At the checkpoint, your luggage may be inspected for prohibited items (drone cameras, firearms, fishing harpoons, drugs, etc.) – Transportation to the boat. An authorized transportation service must be hired. The land service includes a 4×4 truck that will pick you up at the agreed meeting point between 5 – 5:30am. You will arrive at the port of Guna Yala around 8:30-9am depending on traffic city. A taxi boat will take you from the port to the contracted sailingboat. (Transportation cost u$75 x person). – Return transportation to Panama City. The same company that brought you to the boat will pick you up from it in a taxi boat between 7-8am and take you back to Panama City in a 4×4 vehicle. Estimated arrival time is around 12-1pm. (Transportation cost u$75 x person). – If Late Check-Out service is hired, the boat will pick you up between 2-3pm and drop you off in Panama City between 6-7pM​

Non-Refundable Deposit Disclaimer Please review the following deposit policy before confirming your reservation: 1- Deposit Amount: A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your reservation. 2- Purpose of the Deposit: The deposit is intended to reserve the requested sailing charter for the specified date and time. This helps us allocate resources and prepare for your memorable experience. 3- Non-Refundable Nature: The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations, no-shows, rescheduling, or changes in plans. 4- Exceptions: In rare and exceptional cases, where (Family Accidents, Natural Disasters, Lost of Someone), we may consider offering a credit or rescheduling option at our discretion. 5- Final Payment: The remaining amount of the charter fee will be payed at your arrival time on your sailing boat, directly with the captain on board, by cash. Is important to consider that there is no ATM in Guna Yala, so you have to bring the total amount before arriving on board. In case failure to make the final payment within the estipulated time may result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund of the deposit. By proceeding with the reservation and submitting the required deposit, you acknowledge and agree to our nonrefundable deposit policy as stated above. By engaging in our sailing charter services, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks, both known and unknown, and you agree that TriponBoats, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur as a result of these risks. 2. No Liability for Personal Property: Triponboats is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings or equipment brought on board by you or any member of your group. 3- Professional Crew: Our crew members are skilled professionals who prioritize your safety and enjoyment. However, they are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the charter. 4- Third-Party Services: In cases where we arrange or recommend services provided by third parties, such as transportation or dining options, we are not liable for any issues or incidents related to those services. 5- Exclusion of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, TriponBoats disclaims any liability for direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our services. By proceeding with the reservation and participating in our sailing charter, you confirm that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to waive any claims against TriponBoats for liability or damages. PRIVACY POLICY Trip on Boats is committed to protecting its users’ personal data. The data collected (name, contact information, nationality, restrictions, etc.) is used exclusively for: Managing the customer’s reservation Communicating travel-related news Offering personalized support and follow-up We do not share sensitive data with third parties outside of the contracted services. All data is stored on secure servers with the utmost confidentiality. ​ Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution The reservation agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from the interpretation or execution of these terms will be resolved through mediation and conciliation, with the parties waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
